Pint-size Aussie boxing star Ebanie Bridges swaps the ring for some work as a jockey, but not all is as it seems – as the world champion reveals how she deals with the marriage proposals she gets every day
Australian boxing world champion Ebanie Bridges has joked about a career change after delighting her fans with photos and video of herself dressed as a jockey on social media.
The Blonde Bomber, who successfully defended her title with a stoppage win over Shannon O’Connell in December, has a huge following online and uploaded the content of herself on Thursday wearing riding gear.
Bridges, who is just 155cm tall, asked her thousands of fans: ‘Am I a cute jockey?’
In one of the video clips shared, Bridges says: ‘I think I look pretty cute to be fair.’
However, the IBF female bantamweight queen has no intentions of giving boxing away just yet – she was shooting a new commercial for independent bookmaker BetGoodwin.

Meanwhile, earlier in the week Bridges revealed that she gets marriage proposals every day of the week – but unfortunately the former maths teacher is taken.
She hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram on Monday, when somebody asked: ‘Will you please marry me?’
Bridges replied: ‘For the ten people that ask me this nearly every day, and for the hundreds of people that are probably going to ask me in reply to my question and answer today, it’s a no, sorry, I’m taken.’
The champ has previously revealed she had a boyfriend in Australia, though it is not known if that is the relationship she is referring to.
Bridges launched her pro boxing career in 2019 and won her first five fights.
She is currently on a four-bout win streak and continuing her recovery from surgery after breaking her hand against Shannon O’Connell.
