Real Madrid got the win in Game 1 of the Liga Endesa Finals against Barcelona Monday, though has lost Anthony Randolph with an ugly knee injury.
Per Real’s medical report Tuesday, Randolph has suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will undergo surgery in the coming days.
Randolph was injured in the second quarter of Monday’s game and was helped off the court and as expected, he will miss the remainder of the ACB Finals.
The 32-year-old power forward/center posted averages of 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.0 minutes across 20 ACB games this season, his sixth with the Madrid side, and had 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9 minutes over 17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games.
