Baskonia and guard Jayson Granger have parted ways, the team officially announced Tuesday.
Granger, 32, joined the Spanish club in 2021 for his second stint following his 2017-2020 run, and posted averages of 7.3 points, 3.9 assists and a PIR of 8 across 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this past season.
His numbers went up to 8.8 points and 3.6 assists per game in the Spanish Liga Endesa, as Baskonia reached the semifinals of the 2021-22 campaign.
“I want to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to be the captain and wear their shirt for four seasons. I will always be grateful to the fans for the support they have shown me and Baskonia will always be my home. I wish the club and all of Baskonia the best of luck in the future”, said Granger upon his departure.
