Aberdeen are reportedly holding out for a deal worth £10m for Calvin Ramsay this summer
According to Sky Sports, Aberdeen have rejected Liverpool’s initial offer and are holding out for £5million upfront for the right-back, plus another £5million in add-ons.
However, Fabrizio Romano announced late on Monday night that talks were ‘progressing’, with personal terms having already been agreed due to Ramsey’s apparent eagerness to join Liverpool.
The Dons do not want to let Ramsay leave on the cheap following his impressive breakthrough season in which he won the Scottish Football Writers’ Young Player of the Year award.
The teenager made 33 appearances in all competitions throughout the campaign, contributing one goal and nine assists.

Ramsay would fulfil the role of back up to Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back on Merseyside
Ramsay, a Scotland Under-21 international, is keen to make the move to Anfield to work with Jurgen Klopp.
He would fulfil the role of back up to Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Klopp forced to play Joe Gomez out of position at right-back when the England international was unavailable last season.
However, Ramsay’s arrival would raise doubts over the future of Neco Williams, 21, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship winners Fulham.
