Canada Women’s soccer star Jordyn Huitema moves on from Alphonso Davies to Julio Rodriguez

Canadian women’s soccer star Jordyn Huitema transferred to Seattle’s OL Reign in the US Women’s Soccer League to score goals.

Seemingly she has been keeping to her word after posting loved-up photos with Seattle Mariners phenom, Julio Rodriguez. 

Huitema gained immense popularity as part of the leading man and woman of Canadian soccer while dating Bayern Munich and national team star, Alphonso Davies — who is set to have the weight of a nation on his shoulders at this month’s World Cup.

Since her move from Paris Saint-Germain to OL Reign, Huitema has found love in the Pacific Northwest in Seattle rookie, Rodriguez. 

The Dominican Republic Olympic gold medalist has made a huge splash during his debut season, earning an All-Star spot after 28 home runs through the 2022 season.

Rodriguez also placed second in the MLB Home Run Derby to San Diego’s Juan Soto. In August, he signed a 14-year contract with the Seattle club worth up to $400million.

The Canadians had been together since 2017, as they began dating before moving to Europe 

The 21-year-old will likely be further rewarded for his phenomenal opening season with an AL Rookie of the Year award looking almost certain. 

Rodriguez became the fastest rookie in baseball history to reach 25 homers and 25 stolen bases.

Davies and Huitema split up earlier this year, with the former taking to Twitter in late May to confirm rumors of their parting.

Canada’s former power couple, both 21, had been together since September 2017, as they began dating in Canada before moving to Europe to advance their respective careers.

Canadian star Davies also defended Huitema amid allegations that she was unfaithful

Davies and Huitema shared a YouTube channel together, that has since been deleted, along with all their pictures together on social media.

The Bayern sensation defended Huitema at the time amid allegations that she was unfaithful during their relationship.

‘Yes Jordyn and I have parted ways. The rumours about her are not true,’ Davies wrote in May.

‘She is a good person I have a lot of respect for her. I wish her the best and ask everyone to respect our privacy.’

Huitema has scored twice during 10 appearances for Seattle’s OL Reign in the ’22 WSL season

Rodriguez has been a sensation for the Seattle Mariners and is certain to win be the AL ROTY
