PETR CECH claims he is “living on his phone” as he aims to help Thomas Tuchel strengthen his Chelsea squad.
The former goalkeeper is now employed by the Blues as their technical and performance advisor.
New owner Todd Boehly is ready to splash out around £200m this summer on new additions.
And the West London side have already been linked with moves for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.
Tuchel is known to definitely want a defender added to his squad after losing both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
And he could also be in the market for a new striker if Romelu Lukaku secures his return to Inter Milan.
Despite many players being set to depart for their holidays after the international break, Chelsea are already getting down to business.
And Cech has revealed he is already well underway in trying to bring in fresh recruits.
He said: “I live on the phone! It will be a busy summer. We will plan, prepare and try to be as strong as we can next season.
“I think everybody knows where we are in terms of the team. Of course we will try to strengthen the team.

“We want to do the best possible and be ready to compete next season.
“It’s going to be a tough season with a World Cup in-between so we need to be ready for that.”
Cech won four Premier League titles and the Champions League during his playing days at Chelsea.
And he was quick to praise boss Tuchel for still delivering the Club World Cup amid the chaos surrounding their recent takeover – although he admitted how difficult it will be to finish above Manchester City and Liverpool.
He added: “He’s done an incredible job and last season he handled the whole situation very well and managed to pull his team through.
“I hope he can continue like that.”
