PAULO DYBALA has rejected Manchester United and Tottenham to sign for Inter Milan after his mum persuaded him to stay in Italy, according to reports.
Last month the attacking midfielder, 28, announced he would leave Juventus when his contract expires at the end of June.
That presented United and Tottenham with the opportunity to sign Dybala but he has always been heavily tipped with a San Siro switch.
And now Inter look set to snap up the Argentine thanks to his mother’s influence, report Gazzetta dello Sport.
Dybala is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a four-year contract worth £5million a year.
The deal will be completed soon after the player revealed his mother Alicia is “very present in his life and sports choices”.
United and Tottenham are believed to have pulled out of the running with Spurs unwilling to match his wage demands.
Dybala was reportedly not keen on a switch to north London either having previously rejected the club in 2019.
Rivals Arsenal were also interested in Dybala but his desire to play Champions League football ruled the Gunners out of the running.
United have quickly turned their attention to other targets – making Christian Eriksen a contract offer.
