Agent Dybala? Paul Pogba links up with his ex-Juventus team-mate as the Frenchman is heavily linked with a return to Turin after leaving Manchester United… but the Argentine won’t be there to welcome this summer
- Paul Pogba will depart Manchester United after six years on a free transfer
- Juventus, the player’s former club, is believed to be his most likely destination
- Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus this summer after failing to agree a new deal
- Serie A rivals Inter Milan are believed to be circling for the Argentine forward
Paul Pogba has been photographed with former Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala fuelling speculation that he will be making a return to Turin this summer.
Both players are out of contract this summer with their respective clubs with Pogba and Dybala expected to miss each other at Juventus as the midfielder makes a return to north Italy while Dybala departs.
Dybala waved an emotional goodbye to the Allianz Arena at the end of the Serie A season, showing that despite being unable to come to an agreement over a new deal, he still holds Juventus dear to his heart.
Paul Pogba posted a photo of himself and former team-mate Paulo Dybala together
As such, Pogba posting a photo of himself alongside the Argentine on his Instagram has only sought to increase the speculation that he will once again be playing his football at Juventus next season.
Captioning a collection of photos coyly with the word ‘pushing’, Pogba’s post led to a flurry of responses telling him to come to Juventus or welcoming him, prematurely perhaps, back to Juventus.
The link up between the two players, however, appears to have just been as friends with Dybala known to be departing the club this summer.

Paulo Dybala cut an emotional figure on his last appearance for Juventus in Turin
After a series of injury-hit seasons, the Argentine, who was once seen as the great white hope for the Italian giants, and Juventus failed to agree a new deal. It is expected that Dybala will remain in Italy with Inter Milan.
He cut an extremely emotional figure on his final home appearance for Juventus, leading his team on a lap of honour around the pitch while tears streamed down his face.
Pogba’s departure from Manchester United was less emotional, with the fans and the player experiencing something of a breakdown in relationship in the last few months of the Frenchman’s second spell at the club.
He was booed off by a section of the Old Trafford crowd when he left the field of play in a 3-2 win over Norwich in April.

Pogba could earn up to £68million over a four-year contract back with the Italian side
Meanwhile, after barely lasting five minutes in Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat at Anfield in April, the away section appeared to not take kindly to Pogba’s decision to go off, booing him as he departed the field of play.
Having arrived from Juventus in 2016 to much fanfare and for a reported £89m, it was hoped that Pogba would transform the club in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson years.
That was not to be, however, and it appears as though the Frenchman will return to Juventus and Italy.
