The General Director of Youth and Sports, Carlos Yuste, attended the final and trophy presentation of the III Spanish PGA Match-Play Golf Championship, which was held at Club de Royal City Golf. In a statement made after the awards ceremony, Calos Yuste recalled the regional government’s commitment to this sport and stressed that the General Directorate he directs has organized golf promotion days between the months of October and May, which have had the participation of more than 1,000 male and female students and 60 teachers.

Parallel to the competition, activities are being held, encompassed under the Fortnight of Golf initiative, and which include free training clinics, days with school children and the disabled, round tables and tastings of typical local products, as well as the VII Open de Golf Ciudad Real, which will take place from June 10 to 12.
