Linn Grant, third win of the season
It was Linn Grant who proved to be stronger not only than the many champions but also the many champions on the field. At the top since the end of the third round, in the fourth the Scandinavian has already mortgaged the title in the first six holes.
With another bogey free round (for her zero errors in the last 36), with eight birdies (three of which in a row) she left the crumbs to the opponents. The Swede is the second project to win a mixed tournament. Before her, Hannah Green did in February in the TPS Murray River, on the PGA Tour of Australasia.
Before her the many victories as an amateur, then the transition to professionalism and her success, in 2021 and on LET Access, at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open (won this year by Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso). So, the escalation on LET you where, from March to today, you have won three tournaments.
From the Joburg Ladies Open to the Belgian Mithra up to the Scandinavian Mixed. Henrik Olof Stenson (born 5 April 1976 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish golfer, part of the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. In 2016, the year in which he also won the Olympic silver medal in Rio de Janeiro behind Justin Rose, Stenson won the Open Championship played at the Royal Troon Golf Club, becoming the first Swede to lift the Claret Jug: thanks to a final round extraordinary, embellished with ten birdies and finished in 63, had the better of a rival of great value, the American Phil Mickelson, over whom he prevailed with a three-stroke advantage.
The final score of 264 (68, 65, 68 and 63) was 20 under the par of the Royal Troon (the score of 4 laps cannot be compared with the Par of a course).
