When two icons come together, a fantastic synergy is always created: Naomi Osaka revealed that she is a fan of F1 Mercedes superstar Lewis Hamilton, in terms of style. The Japanese star, who will finally return to the court after maternity leave at the beginning of 2024, praised Hamilton’s sense of fashion and hsi best outfits, sharing a series of posts that celebrate the stylistic iconicity of the British Mercedes champion.
Osaka herself is an icon of style and fashion, as well as social commitment and the fight against inequality, just like Hamilton. Naomi, on Instagram, posted several screenshots of Hamilton’s outfits from the Las Vegas F1 GP, revealing that she watched the Netflix series Drive to Survive, just to see what the Formula 1 champion was wearing!
Fashion and Hamilton apart, Naomi will finally come back on the court, in 2024!
As you were saying at the beginning of the article, Naomi Osaka is finally preparing to return to the court. The strong and beautiful Japanese tennis player became the mother of little Shai at the end of the Summer.
Naomi, after a year away from the tennis courts, is eager to return to competing and winning trophies. At the beginning of autumn, she made these statements, which were a prelude to a prompt return to the WTA Tour: “I’m sure I’ll be back.
These months away from tennis have made me reconcile with this sport and I have rediscovered a genuine love for it, to which I have dedicated my whole life. I’m in a resting phase but I still feel competitive. I think I can win Grand Slams again, and my dream is that my son can see me do it.
I intend to return to the circuit directly in 2024.” In the last year, before the pregnancy, injuries and physical condition did not allow her to play many tournaments, to the point of reducing her appearance more and more, until the revelation that she was waiting for a baby.
In 2024, Naomi Osaka should try to be more present on the women’s circuit: “I will definitely play a lot more tournaments than I played in the past. I think some people will be happy about it. I think this is because I don’t realize how the beginning of the year will go for me. At the very least I’ll prepare myself for a great end to the season.”
