Cristiano Ronaldo’s impressive form at Al Nassr has continued as he netted a hat-trick against Damac in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo’s Al Nassr – gunning for a first league title since 2019 – travelled to seventh-place Damac hoping to extend a good run of results.
And it didn’t take long for Ronaldo to make a mark, with three goals in the first-half.
The Portuguese netted the opener 18 minutes into the game, converting a penalty by smashing it into the left side, far beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.
Just five minutes later, he received the ball on the edge of the box and fired it in with his left foot – the 153rd goal of his career that he has scored with his weaker foot – and that set Al Nassr well on their way to a win.
Just before half-time, Ronaldo completed his hat-trick to wrap up a great half’s work.
The ball was played in to him from the right side of the box for a simple tap-in and he scored his second hat-trick in three Saudi Pro League games for Al Nassr.
This was the 62nd hat-trick of his legendary career and the 32nd after he turned 30, meaning he has now scored more since hitting that age.
It also means he has had a hand in each of Al Nassr’s 10 league goals with eight of them scored by himself and two set up for his team-mates, all of this coming in his last five games.
Ronaldo’s overall career tally is also now up to 827 goals, an incredible record for a career that has seen him enjoy success in five different countries.
