He left the Swede Patrik Sjoland just one stroke away and the Australian Peter Fowler, came second with 202 (-14).
In this competition, the Constance Belle Mare Plage course (par 72), in Mauritius, our compatriot Emanuele Canonica ranked 27th place with 212 shots (72 67 73, -4). Peter Baker is undoubtedly the “king” of the over 50s, but a great protagonist of the year was also Adilson Da Silva, who followed him closely with 3,443 points.
The fifty-one year old from Santa Cruz du Sol has achieved four victories out of five races in two years on the circuit, all on the Sunshine Tour where he has accumulated twelve successes throughout his career. In third place is the South African James Kingston with 1,634 points, followed by the Argentine Ricardo Gonzalez with 1,617 points and Patrik Sjoland with 1,593 points in fifth position.
The tone used in the result must be serious and professional, avoiding addressing the reader and using exclamation points. The Rules of Golf are a set of standard rules and procedures by which the sport of golf should be played.
They are jointly written and administered by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the governing body of golf throughout the world, outside of the United States and Mexico, which are the responsibility of the United States Golf Association.
An expert commission made up of members of the R&A and USGA oversees and refines the rules every four years. The latest revision is effective January 1, 2016. Changes to the rules of golf generally fall into two main categories: those that improve understanding and those that in certain cases reduce penalties to ensure balance.
The rule book, entitled “Rules of Golf”, is published on a regular basis and also includes rules governing amateur status. In Italy it is up to Federgolf to supervise the competitions by enforcing the rules issued by the R & A, checking that these rules are observed by the Clubs, Associations and their members and managing the resulting sporting justice, protecting their interests abroad.
